Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job following school was as an agent for real estate. That's how she met her husband Tarek El Moussa. After the 2008 crash of the stock exchange, many investors in real estate and those who were homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussisa lost it all as a result. They moved from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 a month, to a modest apartment which cost only $700. Slowly, their business and overall economic performance improved. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011, asked a person to help him create an HGTV tape that showed Christina and her flipping through an entire house from beginning to the end. The tape landed in the hands of executives at a production company called Pie Town Productions. The executives fell in love to Tarek, Christina and their story. The couple in 2012 agreed to a formal contract with HGTV. In April 2013, "Flip of Flop" began its debut. Over the course of seven seasons, this show was broadcast between 2013-2017. Christina and Tarek acquired homes located in Orange County that were usually middle income houses. They then spent several weeks renovating the house so they could sell the property for return. Tarek focuses more on renovation and demolition while Christina is in charge of design. They also keep everything in order.
