Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter after she appeared in the series One Tree Hill. She played Alex during three of the last four seasons. In episodes of the show the singer-songwriter performed her country debut albums. The album bearing the same name was ranked among the top 20 albums of the Billboard 200's top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, was also among into the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love country music. In the future, she was pursuing the career of a recording artist. However, her debut professional appearance was as a actress in the horror film indie Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was an teen. She appeared in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the The CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. She stayed until partway through the series' final season in the year 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract to Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I I Won't Let You Go" on the show's episode. The track was later featured on her debut album in the mid-2012 timeframe. The track ranked fifth on Billboard Top Country Albums. She remained focused on her career in music afterward, she did not stop acting. she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 in the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. Also, it was the year that she landed an adult contemporary hit, with Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
