Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in theater, film and TV. She started acting on stage and went onto appear in mainstream, independent, and television series. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. In BET's massive show The Book of Negroes she was a character. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her character, she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995, she was the first actress to make her debut in The Tempest as Ariel. Stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. Coming to her movie career she is renowned for her role in movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. In her television work, she has been praised for her role in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
